Diabetes camp is one of the best experiences for a child with diabetes. Camp is a place to learn self-confidence, to be with other kids with diabetes, and to simply have a great time. It's also an excellent opportunity for mom and dad to take a break from diabetes. Washington State
Camp Sealth Alyssa Olsen Camp Sealth, for kids and teens with diabetes age 6 to 18, is owned and operated by the Seattle-King County Council of Camp Fire. Camp Fun in the Sun Lisa Randall Camp Fun in the Sun is the only camp in Washington dedicated to kids with diabetes that is accredited by the American Camping Association. Camp Leo Camp Leo Put some excitement into your summer with a week at Buck Creek, where having diabetes is the rule and not the exception. Camp STIX Camp STIX Diabetes Programs Camp STIX is an independent, community based, summer camp located in Northeastern Washington for children and teens with diabetes throughout the Northwest. The camp is held at Bear Paw Camp and Retreat Center on the Pend O'reille River near Newport, Washington. Camp STIX offers a one week program for children and teens ages 6-18. Oregon Chris Dudley Basketball Camp in Oregon is for boys and girls with diabetes, ages 10 to 17, who want to learn about basketball. Idaho Camp Hodia is Idaho's camp for children with diabetes Sweet Kids Day Camp offers a free camping experience for kids ages 3-7 living in Idaho British Columbia Camp Kakhamela offers kids and families in British Columbia a wonderful camping experience. |
