Course Description

This course will provide an overview of diabetes management with a focus on medication management, trends in pre-diabetes, needs of lower-income populations and diabetes in relation to depression and kidney disease. Short “rapid-fire” sessions will provide brief updates on a variety of diabetes topics. The goal is to provide family practice and internal medicine physicians and other allied health-care professionals with the knowledge and tools to treat various components of this complex disease.
