This is a great opportunity for Western Washington Families, who care for a child with diabetes to come together in a fun camp environment and we need to get the word out to those families. This year, the author of Cheating Destiny, James Hirsch, brother of Endocrinologist Irl Hirsch will be the keynote speaker, inspiring and supporting those who live and care for someone with diabetes everyday. This is also an excellent opportunity for diabetes educators to volunteer as a participant.
